Gordon Oster Promoted to Grandmaster 10th degree in The Academy of Self Defense a David German TAI System.
Ray Snider originator of the Academy of Self Defense is retiring from the martial arts and turning over all responsibilities to Gordon Oster.
Gordon started training with Master Snider in the early 60's. He was the only student who was able to reach the rank of black belt in three years. The norm is 5 to 7 years. When Gordon took the black belt test he did in five hours what normally took two days. He is also the only student who past without any mistakes.

According to Master Snider Gordon was a highly qualified instructor. He was admired and looked up to by all the students he taught. It actually became a problem at times because too many of the students wanted him as a teacher.

After reaching the rank of black belt Gordon was instructed by Master Snider to begin advanced studies under Master David German. Gorden spent many years study under Master German. He continued his education in the martial arts studying under many different masters. Gordon has been teaching the martial arts for over forty years.
